October #Write31Days #NOURISH

More than a few people in our church have been on diet transformation journeys this year for health reasons and to switch up from the chicken salad, and to give my daughter something warm to heat up at school, we tried Salmon Poke Bowls this week.

It was a nice change up, though I am sure we won’t do it everyday. I have attempted to copy what others are doing but also find myself liking to experiment, so it comes naturally now to try new things or combinations.

A new favorite in 2023 has been the sweet potato. Do you have any favorite healthy recipes or menu items this year? If so, how did you come about them?

#Write31Days #Nourish

Food is beautiful

Wonderful

to keep us going

but

There is More

than bread

that keeps us alive.

God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob

is our Sustainer,

our bread of Life.

He created everything

and everything was made to glorify him.

As food nourishes the body

He nourishes our being.

There would be

no nourishment

without Him at all.

So if you are doubtful

you can partake of something so holy,

let me be clear

there is no special person

besides HIM.

You can be nourished,

just ask Him,

and you will see

how to truly live.

The Way is upside down.

You can not learn it from the world.

To find nourishment after believing,

keep reading God’s Word

to stay alive.

You may not have a steak on your plate.

You may only have water and rice.

But to truly eat is to feast on what God gives,

so be thankful and blessed forevermore.
